Just a quick update

End Reign test press comes back this week, and all being well, the 7" will go up for pre-order from myself, Fist In The Air, Hemlock 13 and Holy Roar Records

Iron Witch have just got out of the studio and have finished their EP 'Single Malt'. Pre-orders to follow once all the artwork is sorted, so hold tight for some heavy and filthy sludge.

I've added this awesome tape by Little Sister to the store. Featuring members of Masakari and Cheap Tragedies, this is raging and dark metallic hardcore, that fans of Cursed and Tragedy will love, you know the drill. Listen to it on bandcamp, and then order it here to save on shipping from the US of A

Right then, time for a bit of an update of what's happening with the label

I've joined forces, as the junior member, with Fist In The Air, Hemlock 13 and Holy Roar Records, to put out the forthcoming 7" by End Reign. Expect 4 tracks of crushing metallic hardcore, for fans of Rise & Fall and Cursed, with amazing art by Give Up. More details to follow once the test presses come back, but expect a release towards the end of June.

Following that, will be the debut EP from Iron Witch, who are laying down their killer sludge at Chuckalumba Studios next month, with a release in August on the cards. If you love Eyehategod, you'll love Iron Witch, it's as simple as that.

Also around the same time, Below The Fall, will be recording their next EP. The download-only single and zombie-flick video for the track 'Finish Me' c/o Drew Casson can be seen here and downloaded here. Fans of mid 90s bands like Far, Quicksand and Kerbdog will go ape for this.

2 more bands have joined the fold too. Let It Die have been compared to Trap Them, Cursed and Black Breath, and have just self-released an amazing demo, that you can download here. They're touring the UK in June with the awesome Witch Cult, and need a date down south on the 3rd if you can help out

Also, coming onboard are Black Veins, who sound like a filthy union of Converge and Napalm Death, and their demo can be found here.

Tree Of Sores are racking up great reviews for the EP (all on the press page), and it's selling quickly, so don't leave it too late of you want a copy. They're touring next weekend with the fantastic Naisian, and need a date on the 31st if you can help. Year Of The Flood have just demoed some new tracks which you can hear here, and their latest EP is still available. Trippy Wicked and Dopefight are self-releasing a 7" soon, so keep your eyes and ears peeled for that.

And finally, I'm distributing the debut EP from stoner/doom titans Mage, and you can pick up the 4-track EP from our store, limited to 100 copies, so be quick. Also, we're stocking this amazing Live Evil - Volume One Double LP Compilation, which features bands from last year's festival, which is picked from Fenriz's Band Of The Week feature, find out more here and buy here

This update was brought to you by the sounds of Little Sister, YOUWRETCH and Vestiges

Leeds 3 piece, Tree Of Sores, take influences from the doomy atmospherics of Neurosis, an underbelly of crust care of Amebix, and an air of recklessness favoured by the likes of Eyehategod. The band create a vibe that is heavy, dark and ambient, with tortured male/female vocals, and a mission to take you to a frightening place.

Recorded with Matt (Pumpkin Records) at Brunswick Mill, Manchester in October 2010, and artwork and layout by Black Uroborus, this CD comes in a 4-panel digipack, and is limited to 150 copies. You can buy the CD here, or can be listened to and downloaded from Bandcamp right now for whatever price you want, even free.

For the next 3 weeks, anyone who pre-orders the EP, will pay a special price of £4.00, with free p&p, and get an immediate download link for your listening pleasure, with the EP to follow. Click here to buy. You can hear tracks from the EP at Bandcamp and that other place.

Here's a bit of an update about what's happening with the label and bands in the coming months.

Next up is the EP from Tree Of Sores, with 6 tracks of dark and ambient doom, we're just waiting on artwork from Black Uroborus, and then it's off to the printers. In the meantime, check out one of the tracks, 'Sandford'. A 3 week European tour follows in April/May, so please get in touch if you can help with dates.

Following that, will be an EP from dirty sludgers Iron Witch, entitled 'Single Malt'. Before that drops, they're busy cutting their teeth gigging, doing a short tour with Rasputin and Hello Dagger, supporting the mighty Kylesa in Manchester, and also playing with the legendary Sally at the Skill Wizard night in London.

Trippy Wicked are working on their next album, and are also heading out on tour in the UK and Europe with Stone Axe and Stubb, so Chris & Pete Wicked will have their work cut out, as they're also the rhythm section in Stubb.

Year Of The Flood have bagged a couple of slots on the upcoming Latitudes and Hammers tour, so get down early to Nottingham and Cambridge to see them in action. A short UK tour is also in the pipeline for March/April.

Below The Fall finished off last year with some well-received gigs, including a BBC Introducing show and also got radio play. Their track, 'Commissioner' was also used on a showreel video by the talented Drew Casson, check it out. A new EP is in the pipeline for release in Spring 2011

Finally, there's going to be a 1st birthday gig for the label, on Saturday May 7th, at Stuck On A Name Studios in Nottingham, featuring all 5 bands, and bring your own booze, so it's gonna be party time! Will hopefully get some t-shirts done, and a nice screenprinted poster for the occasion.

Thanks for all the support and kind words in 2010, here's to a banging 2011!
